Gallery 4 is a cooperative gallery in Fargo, ND that supports local artists. It was established in 1975 and is currently the longest running artist co-op in the country. The gallery has a variety of artwork on display, including paintings, sculptures, and photography. The gallery also includes a “Made In Fargo” gift shop which highlights local, handmade arts, crafts, trinkets, and gifts. These gifts are made by some of the best artists in North Dakota and Minnesota. There are many treasures to be found, including jewelry, small-sized art, wall hangings, greeting cards and magnets. These local artists come from a variety of backgrounds and professional experiences. The members of the cooperative work in the gallery showroom to greet visitors and help the public find what they are looking for. This helps to maintain the quality of work for its customers and keep the prices affordable. In addition to the beautiful works of art, the Gallery also offers workshops and other events, which encourages a sense of community and appreciation.

Gallery 4 supports emerging and established artists looking for a place to exhibit their work. They renovated a gallery room and created the support artist membership program that allows local artists to exhibit their work publicly.

One of the current exhibits features young artists from nearby West Fargo High school. The Pop-Up Gallery features more than 70 West Fargo High School art students. Jacob Bosmoe and Brenda Luthi, West Fargo High School Art Teachers, say that the students’ work includes drawing, painting, and ceramics/sculpture. Art is not for sale. Receptions Tuesday, April 12, and Wednesday, April 20, from 4-6 p.m.

The Art Gallery covers over 2,000 square feet. It has a main entrance to Robert Street that can accommodate up to 200 people. There is also a private area for workshops and education classes. The whole gallery can be rented for events.

The gallery was named in honor of Matilda Roberts, one of Fargo’s founding women. She is also the name of the street that runs in front of it.

The Gallery 4 is one of the city’s top destinations for local and tourist art lovers. The gallery is located at 115 Roberts Street N, just off Broadway in Downtown Fargo. Parking is available at several nearby locations, such as Roberts Commons Ramp, 217 Roberts Street, and other paid lots. You can park for free in these lots for up to two hours. If you arrive late in the evening, parking on the street is free during the first two hours. After 5pm, parking is FREE.

Gallery 4 is a destination for local and tourist art lovers alike. The gallery is easily accessible by foot. There are a number of parking garages in the vicinity of the building. The Roberts Commons Ramp is located just across the street, and is free after 5 PM on weekends. You should plan to spend at least an hour in the Downtown area if you wish to enjoy a visit to Gallery 4.

The gallery is open to the public Mondays through Saturdays from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free. The gallery features paintings, prints, sculpture, jewelry, and ceramics.
